TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND EVALUATION-ATENAS
In times of artificial intelligence
Students who attend, understand, express themselves, motivate themselves and progress in different ways live together in any classroom. We start from a simple idea: diversity is not an exception that appears in certain cases, but a common characteristic of any group. Therefore, teaching from diversity involves anticipating barriers and offering different ways to access learning, participate and demonstrate what has been learned. The course connects three dimensions that are closely related in teaching practice: how we think, how we learn and how we evaluate. Based on real classroom situations, processes such as attention, memory, motivation, executive functions and metacognition will be analyzed and translated into concrete decisions: task design, supports, groupings and forms of feedback. At the same time, the in-depth evaluation – its types, its instruments and its regulatory function – will be worked on so that it ceases to be the end point of the process and becomes integrated into it from the beginning. The purpose is not to accumulate isolated resources, but to build a more inclusive and useful look for daily practice. Participants will learn how to design flexible, demanding and accessible proposals; how to collect evidence of learning in different ways; and how to use assessment to help students understand where they are, what they need to improve and how they can keep moving forward.
