ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN ACCIÓN-BUCAREST
ARTivism, Ludopedagogy and Ecosocial Awareness
For current teachers, addressing the ecological crisis in the classroom has often become a frustrating task that oscillates between the transmission of dry technical data and the risk of generating eco-anxiety or apathy in students. Educational research has shown for decades that saturating working memory with catastrophic statistics does not translate into real behavior change. The error does not lie in the urgency of the message, but in a traditional approach that appeals only to reason, ignoring that human decisions and community commitment are born of affective bonds and ecosocial identity. This course proposes a pragmatic, honest and deeply connected paradigm shift with current active methodologies. Based on the latest evidence from the behavioral sciences and the European framework of competences in sustainability (GreenComp), the program provides teachers with a box of low-cost tools based on play, art and local pedagogy. Spanish teachers and their international counterparts will share an active training space designed not to demand utopian projects, but to integrate dynamics of sensory reconnection, ARTivism and pedagogy in everyday learning situations of any subject, returning to the teacher the safety, criteria and motivation to educate in the era of the climate emergency.
